+ Do you do finger tattoos? Face tattoos? Etc?

Generally yes, we take finger, face, foot and neck tattoos on a case-by-case basis. Every artist has the discretion to decide if they are comfortable doing the piece.

Keep in mind for hand/finger/foot tattoos:

  1. The tattoo could fade/have areas fall out entirely in as short as a week

  2. The tattoo would need frequent touch ups to maintain (and the fading would occur with every touch up as well)

  3. We do not provide complementary touch ups for tattoos on frequent contact areas.

As long as you understand the above one of our artists would be able to do the piece for you.

+ How do I prepare for my upcoming appointment?

  1. Clean your skin before your appointment! Please do not have any ointments or lotions on the area that you plan to get tattooed. Your skin should be properly hydrated, should not be peeling or excessively dry, and needs to be clean of any rashes or breakouts so that your artist can tattoo properly and it can heal well.

  2. Make sure to wear loose clothing or bring a change of clothes that can easily reveal the area being tattooed. If your tattoo requires you to remove clothing, we have privacy dividers available.

  3. Eat and hydrate prior to the appointment.

  4. Do NOT come to your appointment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  5. Practice personal hygiene leading up to your appointment, as tattooing is a very close-contact service.

  6. Bring a valid form of photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.)

+ Can I bring my friends?

Generally speaking, we do allow guests, but if the studio is crowded on a given day, we may limit the amount of people allowed in the tattoo area. Each artist also has the discretion to request no guests be brought by their client.

+ What should I include in my inquiry?

Describe your tattoo idea in as much detail as possible, including approximate sizing (in inches) and where on your body you're considering getting it. Reference images really help our artists to get a better idea of what you're looking for.

Your inquiry doesn't hve to be exact. Our artists will walk you through their design process and help create something that you will love!

+ How old do I have to be?

You must be 18 years of age or older to be tattooed at our shop, whether or not you have parental consent. Be prepared with photo ID on the day of your appointment.

+ Do you do cover ups?

Our artists do cover-ups on a case-by-case basis. They must evaluate the existing tattoo and consider possible cover-up options, based on your ideas.

+ I need a touch up, do you do that?

Our artists offer complimentary touch-ups within the first 6-months after your initial appointment, with the exception of high contact areas like hands, fingers, feet, face, head, neck and inner lip tattoos. When inquiring about a touch-up, please provide a photo of what your tattoo currently looks like.

Our artists typically do not touch-up tattoos done by other artists, but will consider them on a case-by-case basis.

+ I have an allergic reaction, what now?

It is possible to have allergic reactions to certain types of inks or the adhesive in certain bandages. Unfortunately, there is no way for our artists to predict reactions of individual clients.

Allergic reactions can manifest as redness, swelling, excessive itchiness, hives/rashes or a burning sensation on or around the tattoo. In the event that a reaction occurs, remove you bandage immediately and wash gently.

If you know you have certain reactions because of past tattoo experiences, please let your artist know in advance.

Though we appreciate being informed of any reactions or complications any clients may have during their healing process it is very important to contact a licensed medical professional if any symptoms seem concerning.

+ What is the recommended aftercare?

  • The average healing period is 2 weeks, but sometimes it can take a little longer. It is best to follow aftercare instructions for that entire period.
  • Follow your artist’s removal instructions regarding the bandage/wrap they used to cover your tattoo.
  • After the bandage/wrap comes off, clean gently with unscented soap and clean hands. Do not scrub your fresh tattoo. Pat dry with a clean paper towel afterwards.
  • Moisturize the tattoo 2-3 times per day with unscented lotion (ask your artist for recommendations).
  • During healing, it is normal for the tattoo to become itchy, flake and peel. Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo.

  • Try to avoid working out or activities that involve excessive sweating.
  • Absolutely no swimming, hot tubs, baths, or submerging in water. Bodies of water are full of bacteria!

  • Showers are fine but try to allow the water to indirectly flow over the area and use only unscented products.

  • Try to avoid direct sunlight.
